PowerPoint, word mat, worksheet and poster template for children to explain how they can stay safe in the sun through drawing and labelling.
Use the PowerPoint to introduce the lesson and explain the different ways that children can keep themselves safe in the sun. Slides can also be used as posters around the classroom or the outdoor areas. Children record their learning using the worksheet and poster templates. The word mat can be used as a memory jogger or to help children with spellings.

Seasonal Changes Recording Sheets
Use together for a series of lessons to recap learning about the different seasons:
Lesson 1, 2, 3 - use the three different Seasonal Changes sheets to record the individual changes (a lesson per change);
Lesson 4 - use the Four Seasons planning sheets to plan all the differences. Choose the planning sheet appropriate for your pupils;
Lesson 5 - use planning sheet developed in previous lesson and the Four Seasons booklet to write a booklet about the Four Seasons. Choose the booklet template(s) appropriate for your pupils.
Works well as a build up for an end of term writing piece and to assess the whole year's Seasons topic in Science/Geography.

Planning and writing sheets for The Four Seasons. Use to write about the different changes that occur over the four seasons of the year. Available:
A4 writing sheet without lines;
A4 writing sheet with lines;
Booklet – with and without season headings;
Booklet with narrow lines;
All booklets available with and without LO (Learning Objective) and space for date.
When printing booklets, select booklet and 2 sided printing. Fold pages in half and slot together in the correct page order to form a booklet.
